(1)   Did you know that Google search engine can be used as a calculator? Just give your mathematical expression in the search box and press Search button. You will get your answer in the search result page. E.g.: put 10+25-8 in search box and you will get the result as 10+25-8=27.

(2)    You can also use wildcard while searching. For example put United * of America and you will get the result containing any word between United and of America.

(3)   Do you have any idea what the “I am feeling Lucky” button does? If not than here it goes. Enter your search query in the search box and press “I am feeling Lucky” button and you will land to another site which was at the 1^st position in Google search engine organic search result. For e.g.: If you type Microsoft in search box and press “I am feeling Lucky” button and you will land to Microsoft official web site www.microsoft.com

(4)   Do you have an idea that Google provides some games? In your address bar type www.google.com/Easter/feature_easter.html and press Enter. Than you will land on a site which has hidden games provided by Google.

(5)   In Google search box type “elgoog” and press “I am feeling Lucky” button. I will not tell you what happens then. Please find it out yourself. Don’t forget to try it out, it’s really interesting.

(6)   If you are looking to download some files than type “your query filetype: pdf”. Than you will get all the pdf files related to your search query. E.g.: type “php filetype:pdf” and you will get a list of PDF files related to PHP.
