Here are some cool Samsung mobile tips and tricks. These tips and tricks might work for some sets only. These tips are very general and I think it will work in most of the Samsung mobile sets.

• To get information about your IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number just press *#06#
• Press #*7728# for the master reset. What master does is that it will reset every settings to factory default. This code is helpful if you are having firmware problem in your set. Also remember that this code will not delete any file from your mobile phone.
• Press *#9998*4357# for Help menu which contains instruction on various aspects of the set.
• Press *#9998*5282# for Java menu for various Java settings. (works for Java enabled sets only)
• Press *#9999# or *#9998*9999# for Software version of your set.
• Press *#8888# or *#9998*8888# for Hardware version of your set.
• Press *#9998*746# or *#9998*0746# or *#0746# for your SIM Information.
• Press *#9998*782# to show date and alarm clock information.
• Press *#8999*638# to show network information of your service provider.
• Press *#32436837# to turn on Digital Audio Interference.
• Press *#3243948# to turn off Digital Audio Interference.
• Press *#9998*968# to view melody used for alarm.
• Press *#9998*288# or *#9998*0288# or *#0288# for Battery and Field Information.
• Press *2767*63342# to Reset Media i.e. it will delete all sounds and pictures in your mobile set. (Note that this will work only with Samsung SGH C100).
